Pledge Campaign Dear Parishioners and Friends, Now construction is nearing completion for your new state-of-the-art 5500 square-foot Family Centre Parish Hall and work is underway on the parking lot, we are offering personal pledge and legacy sponsorship opportunities for individuals, families and friends of the parish. Our personal pledge goal is $50,000 and the legacy sponsorship target is $116,000.
These sponsorships can be in the form of bricks or plaques in the lobby and in the main foyer. Also available are legacy plaques for other areas of the building and for the quarter-acre Serenity Garden. Additionally, the foyer will feature the OLV tree which recognizes other types of donations since 1999. Refer to the following for more information: Making a donation for a brick or a plaque in the name of an individual, family or loved one is a wonderful and unique way to create lasting memories for your family as well as adding to the rich historical record and heritage of the parish itself. The new Family Centre Parish Hall will be a focal point for community gatherings and important occasions for decades to come, and the names included on its bricks and plaques will attest to the dedication of the people who helped to build it. There are many ways to financially contribute to the Family Centre Parish Hall which could mean substantial tax savings. These include cash, gifts in kind, listed securities, bequests, life insurance and RRSPs/RRIFs. The parish has a volunteer specialist available to confidentially review all options with you on a personal basis at your convenience. Simply call the office to book an appointment. Charitable donation income tax receipts will be issued for all eligible donations. Payment methods include VISA, MasterCard, Canada Helps website, post-dated cheques and cash. All recognition plaques and donor bricks will be created in collaboration with donors. You will also receive a Certificate of Appreciation in your name or your family's name. Please take the time now to complete the pledge form and return it to Our Lady of the Visitation as soon as possible. All amounts are gratefully acknowledged.
