Pledge Campaign Dear Parishioners and Friends, As you are probably aware, we are now 90% complete in phase 2 of our 3-phase construction schedule for your new Family Centre Parish Hall. The facility is fully functional and is being used for parish events as well as rentals. The remaining construction work involves landscaping, curbing and parking lot paving and will be financed through a Capital Pledge Campaign. Designed to be adaptable, the Centre offers a multifaceted venue enabling us to serve the broader community. Our hope is that all visitors may experience the delightful and dynamic nature that defines both our parish family and our faith. Historically significant and culturally dynamic, our Centre better enables OLV to remain a prominent centre of spirituality in Ottawa South. Your generosity can now be part of that legacy and we appreciate and thank you for previous donations. As we move ahead to complete our final phase of construction, we are seeking your help to establish a solid revenue flow during our challenging three-year start-up period. Your financial support during this 36-month Capital Pledge Campaign is crucial in bringing success to rejuvenating OLV. The Pledge Information letter outlines our Capital Pledge Campaign and we have a link to our pledge form as well. Our parish goal for this 3-year campaign is to team together to achieve a Pledged Income of $50,000 per annum over the next 36 months. To further assist your planning we have also enclosed a tax information chart outlining the net cost of giving with the support of the government's methodology for co-sponsoring your gift through tax credits. Should you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at 613-822-2197. We would appreciate the return of your pledge form as soon as possible so we may begin planning for the completion of phase 3, e.g. landscaping, curbing and parking lot paving. Thank you for your consideration to participate in the Capital Pledge Campaign for your parish, and for your ongoing prayerful support and thoughtfulness. God's Peace, Father Brian Hennessey, Pastor |
