Although you do not have to be a member of the Parish, it is important to be understood there are certain guidelines that must be followed if one is to be baptized in our church.

    • One parent must be of the Roman Catholic faith
    • One Godparent must be of the Roman Catholic faith
    • The age of the Godparent must be 16 or of sufficient age of maturity to understand the full role of Godparent.
    • Baptisms are generally held once per month varying by liturgical season. Please contact the office or the Sacramental Team for scheduling.
    • A meeting is held once a month for parents, godparents and child/adult to be baptized. Typically, an information package is sent out prior to this meeting to prepare parents.
    • Parents must attend Baptismal Preparation prior to setting a date.
    • Photographs are permitted but this must be discussed in advance with the Sacramental Team.
Please contact olvis@rogers.com well in advance of your anticipated due date to make arrangements. We recommend at least three months notice to allow for scheduling.
